Cleaner / Car Detailer (Part-Time)

A part-time opportunity based in Rosedale on the North Shore has become available. Working on the commercial side of our business which looks after the rentals of cars, vans and trucks (all sizes) we are searching for a Cleaner / Detailer or what we call a Vehicle Service Agent to join our fantastic team

About the Role  

As a key component to our operations, you will be responsible for checking and preparing our vehicles to ensure they are in the best condition possible for our customers.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing the interior and exterior of our vehicles by cleaning, washing, and vacuuming all returned vehicles

• Assessing vehicle for any potential new damages and report it as per our vehicle damage procedure.

• Reviewing returned vehicle gas levels and car kilometres and accurately inputting them into our hand-held devices as required

• Refuelling gas tanks, checking fluid levels and tyre conditions along with pressure and tread depth.

What we are looking for:

• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence is essential for this role however class 2/4/5 licence will be highly beneficial.

• Previous experience in a hands-on or physical labouring role

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in all weather conditions delivering a high standard of work.

• Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards. 

We operate from 6.30 am to 3.30 pm each day during the week but there may be a requirement for you to work an occasional Saturday from 7am – 12pm. We are looking to employ for 20-hours per week but further information on shifts and your availability will be discussed at interview if successful.

• $25.05 per hour but if you have a Class 2 licence we will pay $26.05 ph and Class 4/5 licence holder pays $28.10
