What you’ll do: In this position you will learn and leverage IT risk knowledge to provide insightful recommendations to business stakeholders improving the design and effectiveness of the IT and business control environment. As part of the Internal Audit team, the IT Audit Intern will contribute to the timely completion of the Global audit plan and support the company’s Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Program.
What we’re looking for:
Ability to work full time in our Parsippany, NJ world headquarters for the ten-week program.
Active enrollment at college/university with a prospective graduation date of spring 2025 (rising seniors).
Skills needed for the position:
A bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or Accounting). We ultimately would like someone who has a good understanding of information systems but also that finance component.
Experience with technologies and strong knowledge of software development, infrastructure, and security fundamentals.
Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, presentation, and project management skills with the ability to clearly and concisely.
Proactive, organized, and able to manage competing priorities in order to deliver timely completion of assignments.
Excellent critical thinking, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
An enthusiastic team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
Contribute positively to the organization, both individually and as part of a team
Proficient MS Excel and intermediate Word and PowerPoint skills
Even better if you have but not required:
Experience with leveraging the use of data analysis tools is a plus (e.g. ACL, IDEA, Tableau, Excel, SQL, Python, Alteryx.)
Experience of emerging technologies (e.g., RPA, AI, Machine Learning, Cloud) are a plus.
Understand or familiar with IT audit processes.
