Join our dynamic Team as an Automation Specialist at Avis Budget Group BSC in Budapest! 

 

Are you an enthusiastic and driven individual with a passion for continuous improvement and automation? Avis Budget Group is seeking a motivated Junior Automation Developer Colleague to join our Business Process Improvement team. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify process standardization and automation opportunities, primarily within the Smartsheet platform.  

  • Map business processes with BSC teams to drive process improvement initiatives and plan automation projects. 

  • Plan and implement automation initiatives using solutions within the team's portfolio, including but not limited to Smartsheet, Office 365 products, and potentially assisting with UI Path RPA solutions. 

  • Support the monitoring and basic troubleshooting of robotic solutions. 

  • Support the RPA developer team by identifying issues requiring immediate resolution. 

  • Review errors that could hinder the operation of automated solutions to improve customer satisfaction. 

  • Support the BPI team with various reporting tasks to demonstrate the value and impact of the team’s portfolio. 

 

 

What we are looking for: 

  • Experience with Smartsheet or other low-code automation solutions is essential. 

  • Experience with Power Automate or other Power Platform tools is highly desirable. 

  • Basic understanding of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and its applications. 

  • At least one year of experience working within a shared services center environment. 

  • Advanced English language skills (written and spoken). Min B2 

  • Strong familiarity with the Microsoft Office 365 environment is a significant advantage. 

  • Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills. 

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively facilitate discussions and workshops. 

  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a team. 

  • High level analytic skills and mind – intellectual curiosity and will to understand and act upon root causes 

  • Able to view the big picture and deep dive into processes 

  • Ability to work with people at different levels in the organisation, including Business Analysts, developers and testers
